Join 30 corporate teams from across the Macquarie Park business community for the annual United Way Community Cup. Kick some goals, raise funds, and show what's possible when businesses unite for good.
COMMUNITY IN ACTION
Together with our local business partners, we’re rallying to ensure more children in the Ryde LGA have access to the resources they need to READ, LEARN & SUCCEED.
In the Ryde community alone:
- 1,101 children have already benefited
- 7,000 more children are eligible to join the program
Our collective goal this year
⚽ 30 teams sponsoring an additional 180 children
💛 $19,500 to fund a year of books through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program

KICK GOALS FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Enter a corporate team into the tournament
Corporate teams (can be mixed gender) play in a series of competitive or social matches to battle it out on the field.
Raise funds as a team to support local children
Each team will have a fundraising target of $650.
The highest fundraising team will be awarded at midday on game day (May 20, 12pm).
Have FUN while making a real impact in the community!
All corporate registrations contribute to our goal of spononsoring an additional 180 children on the Imagination Library.

What are the event details?

What are the session times and what's the difference between them?
- Session 1 (Competitive): 9am - 12pm
A series of qualification rounds, followed by semi-finals and a grand final. Games are 2 x 10 min halves.
- Session 2 (Social): 1pm - 4pm
A series of round-robin games (no finals). Games are 2 x 7 min halves.
Each match runs for 14 minutes (2 x 7-minute halves).
$6,050 for 2 teams
$8,250 for 3 teams
$9,900 for 4 teams
What impact does our team participation have?
The 2026 team fundraising target means that participating teams will help provide 180 additional children in the Macquarie Park/Ryde area with books from birth to age 5, supporting early literacy and school readiness.

Is the event suitable for all fitness levels?
Mixed teams are encouraged.
If there is sufficient interest, a separate women’s competition may also be offered.
Will participating organisations be recognised?
Yes - teams will be recognised on the day and promoted through United Way Australia’s social channels.
